RP from '06...What do I need to bring with me to get the MARRIAGE LICENSE??

check with the particular town hall you are going to, but generally these combos work the best:

drivers license

AND

birth certificate or passport..

Phew cause I dont ahv emy birth certificate and I dont want to hear 'I told u so' from FH.

We needed our drivers Lic. and birth certificate. it depends on what town hall you go to - call first!

for the town of hempstead, we used our drivers lisences and passports

I brought my original birth certificate and drivers license. Oh and dont forget your checkbook for the fee.

oh good point diamond....if you take your BC....make sure it's the one with an official seal, not the pretty one from the hospital or the typed out one the hospital gave your mom...it's gotta be the one from the 'government' so to speak!

i think sometimes saying 'original' throws people off...they might think that if theire house burned down when they were 5 and they got a new copy it doesn't count b/c it's not 'original.' some people think that way!
