FH and I have NO IDEA where to go for our honeymoon. He already said no to Hawaii (too far), Italy (too expensive and we don't have enough time), Fiji and Tahiti are out for the same reason as Italy), and he said no Mexico (not sure why but whatever) Sooooo, that leaves us with the caribbean. Now being that his dad works for American Airlines - he's pretty much flown to EVERY caribbean island almost. I on the otherhand have not since my family doesn' t fly. So far we've already been to Dominican Repulic, Bahamas, and St. Thomas together. Anyone have any other suggestions? We were thinking of Aruba, St. Lucia, Antigua, and possibly Barbados. He wants an all inclusive place and I don't want it to be too expensive (maybe around $2000?) Sorry so long - but I need some ideas desperately!

I would look into Aruba. I have been there before and it's amazing. I know there are numerous all inclusive places there. If you go on Expedia you can search for either romantic places to go and all inclusive places. There are so many in the Caribbean. Good luck!!!

St. Lucia is supposed to be a GREAT honeymoon place and they have all-inclusives. I've heard good things about the Sandals resorts (more than one there) in St. Lucia but there are others too.

FH and I went to Mexico...our stay at the Barcelo Maya was completely georgous, and we speant about 2000 for 6 nights/ all inclusive/ air fare included trip- check out cheapcarribean.com

what about Bermuda...I hear its excellent over there and i think it would be a nice place to go to...its not too far away and I heard its one of the prettiest islands to go to..i would check into that...FH and I wanted to go there however we feel that it is so close that we could just take the vacation another year because our honeymoon is a once in a lifetime opportunity and that we would never have this option to go anywhere again and spend all this money on the trip (unless we hit the lottery)

My sister went to Aruba and said it was great! Heard that it's a little windy but has a lot of nightlife. On the opposite side, she went to the British Virgin Islands on her honeymoon because it was very quiet and secluded.

we went to a small island off the coast of puerto rico called Culebra which is absolutely fabulous if you want a secluded, private vacation. just about no one will bother you there and it's a gorgeous place for snorkeling, beautiful beaches and romantic walks!
