okay, so, i'm supposed to be getting married in my reception hall....however, I'd like to know if anyone knows of any places on LI ( or possibly even the city, ie, mansions, historic sites, etc) that have INDOOR (my wedding is in Feb.) ceremony locations for people who don't have their reception there as well??
I'm really struggling with getting married in my particular hall (but i will if i have to) and a church is not an option.
Any suggestions?

Re: RP FROM 08 BOARD: non-church ceremony locations
There's a chapel on the LIU: CW Post campus.

We had the same concern. We got married in Coe Hall mansion at Planting Fields Arboretum in Oyster Bay. FM me if you want info, I've referred a bunch of people to them and have the 411.

We're doing the ceremony @ the deSeversky mansion on NYIT's Old Westbury Campus. Were going to be outdoors w/ a room reserved for bad weather. If you were thinking of an outdoor wedding but were worried about rain, sleet, pigeons (LOL) etc. then look there b/c they automatically offered the indoor site just in case.
