Instead of altering the dress, why dont you purchase a corset to wear underneath the dress?

I am more concerned with the dress falling down, and having to keep pulling it up, than the fit..I just felt like when I tried on the corset back dresses, I was more comfortable, in the corset style

That dress is gorgeous as it is! My seamstress sewed boning into the top of the dress that tucks into your bra and secures it more. It worked great! So you can either get a corset or whatever kind of bra and do that- another option for you.

This was a major concern of mine. But with good alterations, you wont have to worry about that. I went so far as to have velco placed on my dress and lingerie so everything stayed put. I never had to pull on my dress all day!

There are pieces of the boning that tuck in the inside of the cup which holds the top of your dress closer to you. The seamstress should be able to show you.
