How far in advance of the wedding is too early for a shower? My MOH and mother would have liked it to be in April or May (my wedding is in June) but since we're all graduating college this year and our spring breaks are all different, it seems liek winter break is the only time that will work. But is 5 months before the wedding too early??
I am in the middle of planning a bridal shower for the beginning of August and they will be getting married in Feb. I believe anywhere from 6 months before to two months before is ok
My wedding is in Sept and the shower will be in July.
My shower is going to be 6 weeks before the wedding.
Some people plan showers well in advance so that it's definitely a surprise. I don't think 5 months is too early even if it's not a surprise.
Mine is sometime in November, the wedding is February 10th. I guess because of the holidays, they chose November.
I think that's sufficient time..
