I have never gone dress shopping, don''t know anything about the whole process so maybe you guys can help (who am I kidding? of course you can! ) I''m 5''3 or 5''4 with heels and weigh about 105 lbs. I''m not the average size I guess. Am I going to have a problem finding dresses? I had loved the mermaid style but if I''m going to need to have major alterations I think it would ruin the style. But, I also seem to like the look of 'ruched' dresses, I think you call them 'pick-up' too? I don''t know what to expect. I have a hard time shopping for normal clothes and can only imagine what this dress shopping will have in store for me... Any advice?? TIA

I wouldnt worry about that...many petite girls find a dress plus keep in mind they will alter the dress to fit your body...I also have a very hard time finding clothes that fit properly

It depends on the dress. I am 5'2 and about 10 lbs heavier than you and I like the mermaid style but not on me because when you're already short, it tends to make you look shorter. But I did find that some mermaid styles look better than others. Try on a few and judge for yourself but you shouldn't have a problem finding a dress. The sample dresses tend to be larger sizes but they'll just clip the back for you to show what it would look like in your size.

I'm 5'1' and about 110 lbs. and I had no problem finding a dress. But it also depends, people who are more of an average size might have a problem finding a dress. I wouldn't worry so much about your size, but finding 'the one' can be a challenge - good luck!
