I had originally thought that when I do my e-party invites, I would include an RSVP card. After speaking to a friend, she mentioned that because it's an e-party, it doesn't need to be that formal. I can just include the phone numbers for them to RSVP to me or to my FH family. What should I do?

I didn't send a response card with my e-party invites. I gave people the option of calling to RSVP or sending me an email. It worked out well.

Re: RP from BHB - E-party RSVP - Card or Call?
I just recently had my engagement party last Saturday. I had a very casual party. Sun dresses and flip flops, with a backyard tent, dj and waitresses. I chose an invitation that was fun, it was in the shape of a martini glass . it had a matching response card that had very cute, casual wording on it. It was a hit, everyone loved them, because response cards are technically formal. But if you put some fun wording on it, it really sets the tone of your party. Also our invites had a beach theme too it, with a lot of pink on it. It was so much fun to have a theme party 'beachy' with my wedding color scheme, white and pink. Also, it soooo much fun to get them in the mail, it gets you really siked for when your wedding comes. We were such dorks, we ran to the mailbox everyday! The party was a hit from beginning to end, attention to detail is what makes it a rememberable occassion. at the end of the night, everyone was saying we can't wait for the wedding!!
