i personally think it is a lot depending on how you do it. your CP is gorgeous so i would not want to detract from that; the most i would do is small votive candles or even short square vases with 1 flower floating in it... i saw this at the water club once and i LOVED it; i think that would look gorgeous. You could do a blue flower (sorry i'm clueless so i can't think of an actual flower that's blue) or blue candles/votive holders
or, i agree with the other poster that you could do those smaller ones for CH tables because those are really nice also
you are right, i dont want to take away from the main cp. I just saw a pic of something else in a magazine that i love and coincidentally its with brown and blue. They have these small square vases and they put 1 candle in the vase with the colored marbles inside and a brown and blue polka dot ribbon wrapped around the top. I realized i need to keep candles bc i want the candlelight to reflect off the hanging crystals

i really love the square vases. and the ribbon would be a great way to get your colors in there. the whole effect would be subtle and compliment your main CP and not be overpowering

yeah ive decided against other flower arrangements around it, it would take away from it. I think what ill do is instead of the votives like in the picture, i will put 4 very small square vases around the cp and put 1 candle in each square vase
the way it is in this picture, its all the way in the right corner but you can still get an idea

yeah exactly, it will be just a small touch to add to the cp and not something to compete with it.

i love that look! i'm doing low cps so it won't work for me but maybe for the CH... who knows... where are you getting the vases? one of the secretaries at work found tons of glass vases at the .99 store... i was shocked but she saved so much money. maybe check them out since you'll probably need a lot

oh those arent my cp's though, thats what i would use around my main cp, which is the first pic. The first pic is my sample cp

well for my e-party i bought vases in the wholesale district. I think im going to go to the same store and buy them.
