RP from BHB: Need help on wedding 'jobs' to involve my step-siblings!!

Both of my parents are re-married and I have stepsiblings on both sides. I would like to include them somehow. There are 2 girls and 1 boy on Mom’s side and 1 boy on Dad’s side. For all I know, the boys may not want to participate. Before I say anything to my parents, I want to have suggestions/ideas on how I can include them. Here’s what I have come up with so far…(ages are at the time of the wedding)

Girl #1 (Age 12) Hand out petal cones after ceremony?
Girl #2 (Age 14) Hand out petal cones after ceremony?
Boy #1 (Age 16) Hand out programs @ church?

Boy #2 (Age 12)?????

Any other ideas?!?!?!?

TIA!!

Are you having a mass??? If so, why not let them bring up the gifts???

Let the 12 yr old boy hand out programs & assign the 16 yr old to pin corsages or butionnerres on aunts/uncles/godparents that arrive at the church

I am still undecided on the mass yet.

Do those that bring up the gifts have to be Catholic? If so, none of the kids are!

Also, they do not know a lot of my family aside from the parents.

On BHB someone suggested having the older one escort gramma, but I don't have one, and FH has one, who is going to be escorted by FH or FH's brother!

What about having the 12 year old boy hand out programs and have the 16 year old boy usher the single and older ladies down the isle

If you're having a mass you could certainly let some of them do the readings. Another 'job' I've seen suggested is to put one of them in charge of making sure every one signs the guest book at the reception.
