FH and I went to Sandals Ocho Rios (Jamaica). AMAZING. It is one of the more budget-friendly Sandals - and it was just great. We're not picky people though...

Spacious beach, great food, awesome Sandals kitschy things like shows at night and such, the staff was awesome, drinks were awesome.

Tours to Dunns River Falls - FYI - if you go, don't go with a group. Go by yourself... You have to hold hands with everyone and sometimes people slip and cause you to slip (big clusterfukk).

Snorkeling, wave runners, people trying to sell you weed all the time . It's really, really, really fun.

And like I said - it cost us $3600 for the two of us for 7 nights, 8 days - and it was peak time in February... Not too bad - other Sandals were like $5200...

I HIGHLY recommend Ocho Rios.

I agree Ocho Rios is next to EVERYTHING....
Montego Bay is away from everything.

I think we are going to sandals regency in st. lucia. it is great because there are 3 sandals in St. Lucia within a half hour of each other. There is a free shuttle between them and you get to go to the restaurants and everything at any one of the three. It is like getting 3 resorts for the price of one. It comes out to more than 10 restaurants or something so you will never get bored. I was doing research on this all weekend, so now i sound like a travel agent,
We are staying at the regency because they have a 9 hole golf course and FH loves golf.

Good Luck

I am looking into a SAndals resort as well...I see there is one in Bahamas, then St. Lucia, Jamaica and Bahamas. Do any of them have a casino? Which would anyone that knows about them say is the most action-packed with the most to do? I want a wide selection of restaurants and activites/places to go...any ideas? Thanks :)

well i do know that the one in the bahamas, is a little bit isolated from other hotels...its right in between nassau and its strip of hotels and paradise island. There is a casino VERY close by at the marriott, just 5-10 mins away and also there is paradise island.

sorry i am blowing up this thread haha

i dont remember seeing these in st. lucia, we did see the rooms that you walk out the back door right into the pool, not sure it this is what you are showing, but that pool is very empty there were few if any people in that pool (which can be really nice also, for privacy) but the swim up bar is not attached to that pool. its in the middle of the hotel, pretty far from that. It might not be what you are showing, because what I saw, did not have a view of the ocean like that in the background, so i am not sure where those rooms are..
