Would it be silly to let FH wear a hat during the reception? He is NEVER seen without a fitted hat and feels naked without one. I want to get him a black and white yankee hat to match his tux but would it look stupid?
If you think its okay, do you think theres any point in the reception where he should NOT wear the hat? Other than first dance of course.

Its you and FH's wedding, you can do what you want. If you are having a ceremony at a church, it may be inappropriate

Personally i wouldnt let him wear it during any formal photos, such as cutting cake, first dance, mom dance, garter toss.. things like that. Otherwise if you want to do it.. do it. In the end its up to you and FH.

do whatever you want to make sure that FH and you are happy. You don't want to have any regrets when looking at your pics. Don't worry about friends and family may say - the most imp thing is that you and FH are happy and comfortable

thats whay FH is doing .... after the chruch and after the pictures (he will probably take some pictures withit on) he is wearing a hat and probably a yankee one too (boo ... met fan here) ... i might be letting all the GM do this as well this will be part of thier gift ... I might let them all wear sneakers too at the reception which we will be buying for them

i think after the first dance...he can wear it but i wouldnt let him for like...the cake cutting..
