Would it be silly to let FH wear a hat during the reception? He is NEVER seen without a fitted hat and feels naked without one. I want to get him a black and white yankee hat to match his tux but would it look stupid?
If you think its okay, do you think theres any point in the reception where he should NOT wear the hat? Other than first dance of course.

i think it's a cute idea. i would just check with the church...some don't let you wear hat in the church..

my FH wants to wear sneakers too ... i dont really care though ... i am wearing flip flops at the RH i dont see why hecat be comfroable too!!!

I would do it after all the formal stuff is done and once the party starts maybe you can give it to him as a 'gift' and say something like since I know that my husband wont leave home without it I got you a special little something. (or something like that)
