RP from BHB: WHEN TO SEND INVITATIONS?

RP from BHB: WHEN TO SEND INVITATIONS?

I know this has been asked a million times but...
when do my invitations go out if my wedding is July 3rd? It's a holiday week so do they go out a little earlier? Also, what should the RSVP date be?

I dont' know for certain but I would definitely send them out by May 1st at the latest. Maybe make June 1st your RSVP date? I dont' know. Sorry!

That sounds about right... RSVP is usually the week b4 the wedding.

8 weeks before your wedding is June 8th...so I would give yourself 1 extra week, and send them out on May 1st....

Then have them maybe due June 1st...or if you find out when they need their final count, make the RSVP date 2 weeks before that day, so it gives you time to do the seating chart, and call people who haven't rsvp'd.

Check in your contract, it might be on there when the final count is due, mine was.

We're sending ours out the first week in March, and our RSVP will be April 6th, a month to the day.

It might sound a little paranoid, but I am sending out mine next week for June 24 wedding. May 1 is my RSVP date.

My GF sent out her invites for June 3 wedding 2 weeks ago!
