FH & I are getting married Nov 24, 2006. We are planning on going to Italy for our HM but were not planning on going until May because of the weather (we're thinking it would be to cold over there at that time of the year)...has anyone been to Italy at the end of November beginning of December...is it that cold that we would not be able to do things anything outside????
I know that once the wedding is over we're going to wish that we were leaving for our HM then instead of having to wait until May...we have our hearts set on Italy...

IMO, Italy is best seen when the weather gets a little more mild. There's a lot of walking to do! But it really all depends in what you want to see. If you were thinking about going sunbathing at the Coast, I would recommend going early summer, but i' you're looking to tour the major cities, then I don't see any reason why you couldn't go directly after your wedding. It'll actually be a lot easier on your wallet as well!

Thanks...I figured it prob would be alot cheaper for us to go then...PLUS FH hates when the temp is higher than 70 (thinks you need the ac on when its 71 degrees out) so I figured site seeing he won't be complaining about how hot it is and that he needs ac ASAP

I have my heart set on Italy as well for the HM (getting married 10/06) but I'm probably going to wait until May for budgeting reasons (i.e. wait until I get our tax returns to book it). You could always do a little mini getaway in the states for a week (maybe Napa?) and then do the real honeymoon a little later? Just a thought.

We figured if we want to wait until May for Italy we would do somethng like Vermont for a couple of days - rent a cabin...
