I came across it a while ago while doing searches for wedding stuff. Decided to take a peak at the chat boards and found a lot of helpful stuff, especially since it is so local. I'm an older bride (40!) and internet wasn't around when I was planning my first-but-never-happened wedding 20 years ago.

searching for wedding vendors reviews - kept ending up here! that eventually i was actually searchin to get to this site before i ended up adding it to favorites and joining!

I came acrossit after an old friend from high school sent out her wedding announcements with her wedding site URL from here. When I got engaged, I decided to take a look at the site again...

A friend of mine (our best man's wife ) got married last year and when I got engaged in October she told me about LIW. Originally I just came on to look for reception halls and vendors, but I found the forums and that was it.

I was searching for wedding stuff and it popped up. I saw that they had chat boards and peeked, and was hooked!

I met Liz (Ron's DW) at a bridal show and she showed me how useful it was. I signed up to make a wedding website. After I was done with that I found the little tab that says Chat and the rest is history!!

Right after we got engaged in August, my mom went online to research RHs & their prices and minimums, and she found this site. She told me she though it would be a helpful resource so I joined. I didn't find these chats until about a month ago though
