RP: Need a mechanic in the Huntington area!

I was a good girl and originally posted this in NWR, but I got no responses....

So, please - my mechanice has been dropping the ball on me big time lately - and cant figure out whats wrong with my car - it cant go past 40 mph, and lurches and does all sorts of crazy stuff - every morning I pray the thing will start...

Does anyone know of a good mechanic in the Huntington area????

i'm sure they prob tried this already but did tyou have the tranny flushed and the tranny filter and fluid replaced. if they only replaced the fluid and filter there can still be sediment in it. I had this problem. My car was not going past 45 and was just acting very bad I had the tranny flushed and now it runs great with nice smooth shifting. I founf out i was supposed to be doing it once a year. oops oha nd it only cost me about $35 instead of hundreds for a rebuilt transmittion.
