i chose spa outing because i know they will really appreciate it. or i'm thinking about giving them certificates to dinner and cruising on the World Yatch.

Re: RP: Parents Gifts
My mom and dad love wine, and my mom loves the spa. So maybe I'll send them on a weekend away. I will pick an area with a lot of stuff to do and a winery close by. They can go on a tour of wineries. And then my mom can go get all her spa treatments. What do you think?

I think it really depends on your parents. My parents wouldn't be caught dead in a spa, its just not their style. However, they love the North Fork of LI so I would probably give them a little weekend getaway out there.

Re: RP: Parents Gifts
My parents are divorced for about 7 years now. It is very hard on us as well. My mom has such hatred towards my father. she can't even be in the same room as my dad. My dad is civil. For my brother's wedding (He took the divorce the worst) he told my mother the only gift he wanted was a picture all together. Well that went well (yeah right!!) My mother made a big stink and then had a puss face on. My brother was very upset.
Anyways, I am sending my mother and my aunt to a spa retreat upstate NY and for my dad I am renting out a boat for him and his friends to go fishing. He loves fishing!!!
