For those of you who are married or have ever been to a wedding with the slipper baskets, did your guest use them? My mom seems to think that no one is going to use them and that they are just gonna end up all over the hall.
What were your experiences??

as best as i could tell, our guests loved them ... comments like 'best idea ever' and 'so thoughtful of us'
only a few pairs were left over!

i was the one who didnt want them and my mom insisted on it - i was so glad she did because i cannot tell you how many guests thanked us for saving their feet that night! we only had a couple left over (and they were the odd sizes)

I literally decided to do the slippers DAYS before my wedding. I'm SOOO happy I did! It was a big hit. Only one pair was left over and I think because the basket was kinda deep, it may have been missed.

I made slipper baskets...(I made a basket for each shoe size...) Nothing was left over....ever slipper was taken...it was awesome...

Same here!! One of my cousins even stopped the photographer/videographer and made him take a shot of all of them w/ their slippers on!!

everyone loved them! i did white old navy flip flops and they were all gone at then end.

They were gone within a few hours of the wedding.

Ppl. loved them at my wedding - I had 100 slippers and had about 150 female guests....there was not one left and it was great to see so many ppl. wearing them on the dance floor. Ppl. are still saying what a nice touch it was - I thought it was inexpensive as well.

My guest LOVED them. The dj anounced that the slippers were available and they were gone in mins I got so much positive feedback saying that that was a great idea. I think it is worth doing, I am so glad that I did
