any feedback from brides who've been there? i've heard a lot of unsettling things about crime and dangers to tourists that are starting to scare me away from planning a trip there.
recommend your hotel if you stayed at a great one. TIA
we've been checking rates at frenchman's reef (marriott) and sugar bay (wyndham). i'd love to hear any reviews on those two.

I stayed at the Sugar bay Wyndham - 2 years ago. Me and 2 girl cousins - we had a wonderful time, everyone was nice and treated us like family. The hotel was nice - pool stayed open pretty late and the beach was nice too, the hotel sits on the edge- very nice. Felt very safe - we did tours from our hotel and saw the beautiful island - we also did day trip to St. John - you have to go to Trunks Bay - One of the world top beaches. Avoid shopping in the cruise docking area when the boats come in - too much crowds...lots of shopping there though - Movado, Rolex, Cartier and tons of Jewelers..... One of the best trips - I think no matter where you are we are still pegged as tourists to islanders and you always have to be aware of your surroundings, use tour guides, and travel in areas that are considered safe.
