I am getting ready at the hotel with my BM, they are all staying over at the hotel with me the night before the wedding. I am not, however, getting into my dress until I get to the hall (where I am having the ceremony and reception) where I will change, we'll take pics, see FH, etc, some pre-ceremony religious stuff, etc. I was planning on getting a limo from the hotel to the ceremony location for me and the girls, but now I am thinking to save some $ maybe just doing a shuttle van since the limo wont be in any of our pics etc, and is really just a drop off. Is that ridiculous/cheesy/cheap? I cant decide. What do you think? Thanks.

i would do a van definitly or do a basic limo they might be around the same price.

Does the Hotel have a Shuttle Service? If so, you can maybe ask them if they can provide that for you or maybe for a small fee? It might not be worth it to hire a company for such a short ride.

it does not sound silly at all! Save yourself some money! you can def. get a 14 pass. van to take you fromt he hotel to the hall. You can call Coah Trans- they are very reputable around here!! or you can call All Seasons taxi 516 333-3131. they have vans and they charge $5. a person depending how many people you have, it might be cheaper...
otherwise Coach Trans is a great one. i think they charge $70 one way...

I was thinking the same thing but decided not to get any type of transportation at all. FH and I were thinking about getting just a basic limo to do a drop off but it really isn't worth it. Instead my one BM is going to drive her explorer with the girls in it and I will drive over with my parents from the hotel in their car. The guys who will be getting ready at my brothers house will just drive up in their cars. Why spend the money when you don't have to and besides it makes it easier for everyone at the end of the night anyway to have their rides at the RH.
