RP07 - photography search has begun.....

Hi Ladies,
Fh & I have started our photography search. We saw two today.. Patken & Jo Von.
Patken - didn't really get a good impression from the women who helped us. The photos were amazing though. I also didn't like the idea of not knowing the photographer until after we booked with them. Price with video - $5,000

Jo Von -OMG I fell in love with them. Very warm...friendly..got along great with the photographer. They actually did a friends wedding a few weeks ago and he remembered us...one think....the price..with video - it was $6,500 but included a ton of proofs with you keep...e-pics...parent albums...our album..& a ton of photos etc. - any suggestions on how to negotiate????...I really liked them & their work

I have an appt with Velvet studio monday so I will keep you posted.

They are all negotiable! Go back and tell Jo Von what you're budget is and let them work with it. They will. Believe me, they aren't going to let a customer walk out the door without at least trying to come within their budget. My photographer came down $800 and threw in engagement shoot to fit in my budget just b/c I asked. Good Luck!
