RQOTD - What type of driver are u?

Random Question - ok they are kind of fun -

What kind of driver are you? The speed demon in the left lane who changes in and out of lanes? The slow and steady right laner? Or that slow guy in the left lane that everyone hates?

I am all about the right lane - for some reason I like cars on my left side more than my right - and I have no delusions of myself being a fast driver. Usually I drive in the center lane though - as I hate dealing with merging traffic (or people turning right in non-highway applications!)

I'm pretty aggressive but I use all lanes appropriately. The left lane slow pokes really piss me off though.

I'm a mix of everything. I defnitely dont weave in and out.......I think people who drive like that make themseles look like idiots, b/c half the time, I always end up passing them.

But I'd have to say the middle lane is used the most.........if need be, I may have to hop into another lane to pass the really, really, really slow guy in front.

me too! I am a slow poke (no denial here!) - but I NEVER drive in the left lane. That is just rude. FH gets SO pissed at the left lane slow pokes - especially if they pass him and then slow down!

me too! I am a slow poke (no denial here!) - but I NEVER drive in the left lane. That is just rude. FH gets SO pissed at the left lane slow pokes - especially if they pass him and then slow down!

those are the worse...they made a big effort to get in front of me...then they just site there like im doing something wrong by tailgateing them when they slow down

ditto, I find myself being in the left line most of the time though but I get out of the way if I see someone behind me that seems to want to go faster than I am.

same- I usally stick to the left lane- unless there is that slow poke

I was a right lane girl til I met DH who drives for a living. NO ONE pisses him off more than a left lane slow poke! I'm more slow and steady than aggressive.

A horrible one...I hate driving!...If I know that I am going to be making a left or a right at any point in my trip....I get in that lane immediately

I am a defensive driver, I don't follow too close and I go slightly above the speed limit.

I drive in the center lane because the left lane maniacs scare me and the right lane slow pokes frustrate me.

I do that too. FH makes fun of me cause I willl go in the correct lane MILES before I need to turn. I want to make sure I can get in there! Knowing my luck traffic would suddenly pick up and I would be stuck in the wrong lane!

Fast. Aggressive. I honk my horn so much that I reach over when DH is driving to honk when I think it's necessary.

Unless I'm tired. Then I drive like a great grandma.

I haven't driven on a highway in a long time.. DH usually drives on the weekends when we go out and I take local streets to work because I live pretty close. But when I was commuting a long distance, or driving out to LI. I'm mostly a middle lane driver. That's where I feel most comfortable.

I am a left lane lead footer!! I can drive in the left or right, but never in the middle lane, I feel trapped in the middle for some reason with cars on both sides and panic if I sway a tad in my lane I smack into someone.

The scary kind who has not driven in too many years (due to many years spent living in NYC).

I really have to start practicing with DH--I am not good at all!
