You would be amazed at the amount of grown adults who 'misplace' the invitation or RSVP card and have called or emailed to rsvp. Really? Really? This is not a 14th birthday party.
Yesterday was our RSVP date and not a single RSVP card arrived in the mail . . . we had about 20 responses outstanding.
A bunch of people 'thought they sent it in but will check', others 'forgot' or 'misplaced' the response card . . .
I am so weary to mark people down as a yes without their card!!!!

if they said they'll be there, i think it's fine to mark them as a 'yes' without the RSVP card. just make sure they have the right date and time written on their calendars
super annoying about the missing RSVPs though

I know! Mine just passed and we have 14 left.
I agree...if they say yes, confirm the date/time/place and check it off!!!
Don't stress

Unfortunately you're going to have to. I had extra RSVP cards so I just filled out one and told them to forget mailing the original back.

Re: RSVP amazement - vent, beware
My wedding is next weekend and I still never got RSVP's from two people. One person (an old college roommate) said she put it in the mail and is coming, but I never got it. The other is my dad's cousin, and she told another cousin that she wasn't coming
