RSVP card help....with POLL!

question about the RSVP cards....

I am wording my cards:

___ seats have been reserved in your honour

___Yes, __ of ___ will attend

____ No, we regret that we cannot accept.

For everyone who worded their cards like this....are you putting the amount of people in both the __seats have been reserved and the ___ will attend spaces? or just filling in how many seats are reserved and they fill in the entire response section? thansk so much!!!

I personally prefer

___ seats have been reserved in your honour

Good idea. Then there will be no 'confusion' as to who is and is not invited. People always seem to assume everyone they know is invited.

I think it depends who you're inviting. If you're not inviting children, it gets dicey and you should fill out the number. I'm inviting entire families, so I want to know how many are coming. For example, one of my cousin's kids might be away at some school thing that weekend and not able to come, so it would be 3 out of 4. But if you were only inviting the cousin and her husband, you'd fill in the '2' with 'accept/decline' just so they don't fill out '4' attending thinking they could bring their kids. However, that could also be odd if just the cousin, and not her husband is attending. It's a pickle!
