rsvp card missing

rsvp card missing

Has this happened to anyone else? Today I was opening our rsvps when one had stamped on it received without contents. When I opened it (it was taped shut) there was no rsvp card inside. Of course there isn't a return address on it so now I have no idea who it is from. This is very funny but unbelievable. And our guest list is huge so this won't be an easy one to figure out.

What am I to do?

well you'll probably just have to sit and wait for that person to call you and ask for another invitation. That really ***** though, I hope none of the other invitations were like that

it might have become unglued during mailing, I have had that happen although the post office usually stamps it that it was received opened.
That stinks that you are going to have such a hard time figuring out who it was from.

Look at the post mark so you can try to narrow it down to who may have sent it. Then again I mail things from work and I work in Bklyn but you never know.

Keep track on who is invited with numbersand mark a y for yes and n for no. Thats what we did. It was easy for us. We didn't even recieve one, so I asked my cousin if she was comming and she was like oh of course you didn't reieve it. I think she never mailed it out but you never know.

And for all the future brides number all your guests and number their rsvp cards. JMO I think it keeps track of everybody easier.

I did number them but the problem was the rsvp card wasnt included in the envelope

that is so weird... I'm sure it will be a bit easier to do process of elimination as you get more rsvp's back.

Great... now we have to number the cards AND envelopes?! lol (actually, my rsvp cards will be postcards, so that will eliminate that possibilitiy).

I'm sure you'll eventually figure out who it is... it's just aggravating. I'm sorry!

I didn't get that,but I got blanks!! LOL

I also had people who put their name on it but didn't say if they were coming or not..

You'll just have to use the process of elimination or wait for them to contact you.

So we numbered our RSVP's , but for people like that you need to number the envelope to, lol. I'm sure they may find the response card lying in their house one day and call you, soon hopefully.
