In which corner on the back of the RSVP card does the number go (top left, top right, bottom left, bottom right)? or does it not really matter?
Also, should you use pencil, ballpoint pen, fountain pen? or does it not really matter?

I would use a fine pen. but that is just me, so it won't rub off. Any corner, I doubt anyone is gona look at the back of the card.

I put mine on the botttom right side with brown fine pen.

Havent done it yet..but I plan on putting it on the upper right corner of the RSVP..and I am using an ultra violet light pen to write the numbers..here is the link..
People really forget to write their name on the long line that is on the front of the card??
I never would have thought of numbering them.

Yes people really do. My best friend didnt know you were suppose to write your name on the line until last week so she never did.

You might be able to find one in a store somewhere...
otherwise, use very light pencil, very small writing on the back of the card...no one will notice it!

dumb question...sorry, may have a blonde moment...i never knew u u should # the rsvp...does this jus serve as an easier checklist to see if everyone responds? how do you find out all of these important details...i would have never known!!!...thank go di saw the post!

this is done in case any of your guests don't include their names on the rsvp card when they send it back to you, you can trace who it is by referring to your numbered list.
