our wedding is really a destination wedding for everyone but us. we have family coming in from all over europe, the US, long island, and westchester and i'd say about 80% of the guests will stay in our hotel. 31 room nights have already been booked! i'm trying to figure out transportation for all of these people and it's becoming a massive expense, which we don't mind spending to make sure that people get where they are going safe and sound and enjoy themselves, but i don't want to over or under book the buses. the question is- do you think it's tacky to put a line on the rsvp cards asking if people are planning on using the provided shuttles to and from the hotel and venue?

RSVP Cards - Long Island Weddings
Not at all! I believe another bride sent a card asking about using the shuttle and how many and it simply said if you will be utilizing the shuttle please send this back with your RSVP so as long as you can include it in a well worded way, it makes total sense.

I did. I put a line asking where everyone was staying so I could figure it out.

RSVP Cards - Long Island Weddings
I have a business card insert asking if they require bus service so I know exactly how many i need. If it is way too many people I am opting for a school bus because two of those equals the price of one coach bus and it is only a ten to fifteen minute ride from my pick up location to the reception and back.
