RSVP d-r-a-m-a

Original post by sara0220

We got responses from people that were invited ALONE saying that they were coming with a guest.

We got RSVPs for 'no' and then 3 weeks later (after the RSVP date) they called and said 'oh, we changed and now we are going to come'

We got RSVPs that said 'yes. weather permitting' These are from people who won't go out if it is drizzling. So should we count you as a yes or a no??

We NEVER got RSVPs from people.

We got RSVPs from people who didn't even put their name on the card (thank goodness I numbered my cards so I knew who it was!)

I don't understand why RSVPing correctly is so difficult for people.

this is an insanely stressful part for all if not most brides!! ANYTHING where you have to rely on someone else is going to cause stress and with RSVP's that's ALL you are dealing with!! PEOPLE don't hold RSVP's in as high of a regard as you do because they don't see what you go through. Basically people are lazy and selfish and they ****!! All brides go through this. we all feel your pain!!! I wanted to murder some of my guest over their RSVP stupidity!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Some people really have some nerve! Sorry you have to deal with it. I learned from this board to number the RSVP so I know who it is if they forget their names.
