RSVP Date

RSVP Date

I am gettng married 5/28/06 and the final count is due the the EW by 5/14/06. When should my RSVP date be on my invites. the EW said to put it 6 weeks before the fianl count is due! What do you think?

wow! they needs to know 2 weeks before? can you negotiate that time with them? the reason I say that is because everyone has cancellations, so you want to make sure to give them a final count as late as possible.

if they won't move the date, I would add 3-4 weeks to the 14th and make that your RSVP date.

my place also requires the final count and payment 2 weeks before. I am making my RSVP date 5 weeks before that date (so really 7 weeks before the wedding)

i idid 6 weeks before and well//that was last week and i am still waiting for 66 people

Good question date twin (and hall twin)! - I would say go for 4-6 weeks before, so you'll have time for the late RSVP's to trickle in and have your mom and FMIL make some phone calls. I think the final payment is also due to EW w/ the final count if I'm not mistaken. I suppose I should start thinking about this too.

I think I am going to make it sometime at the end of April. I am going to send out the invites at the end of march, so that will give people 1 month to respond, and it will leave 1 month before the wedding.
