How many weeks before your wedding are you using as your RSVP date?
Also - for Feb brides like me, are you sending them before Christmas? If so, when in December? I don't want them to get lost with all the holiday mail.
Also, how long do you give them between the day you send them out and your RSVP date?

Re: RSVP Date
I think my rsvp date will be a month before the wedding.
For Dec, you might want to send them out in the beginning of Dec so they dont get lost either in the mail or among xmas cards in the guests hoes.

I'm sending mine first week of December. My RSVP date is January 10.
I don't want them to get mixed up with holiday cards either!

Re: RSVP Date
the rsvp date is supposed to be about a month before the wedding, figure the invitation goes out 2 months before it, then your guests have a whole month to get back to you, and you have a month to do things that need more accurate counts, seating arrangements, informing vendors, etc~

Re: RSVP Date
My RSVP date for my January 20th wedding is December 7th. I didn't want the whole holiday card mail thing to mess anything/anyone up.. I also figure - it's really close after Christmas - so anyone traveling will want to have booked flights as early as possible...

I think you can probably mail them August 1, with a RSVP of first week in September.

YES! It is. You can mail yours..... beginning - mid April. Then have a mid-may RSVP!
You're fine!

Re: RSVP Date
Normally you would have the rsvp return date a month before the wedding. but with December being such a busy month It would be safe to send ahead of time. so maybe 7-8 weeks ahead would be good to send them out. I guess in our case the second week of December.
