i'm in the process of printing my invitations. how soon before the wedding should the rsvp date be? we're considering doing an A list and a B list, so want to make the rsvp date sooner rather than later. what do you girls think? wedding date is april 26, 2008. thanks!

ettequitte says 4-6 weeks. Thats what i did b/c people never send them back like they should.
I have to find the post from when i asked. Someone found the link for me.
FH and I don't have an A list or B list but we did the RSVP return date for Feb 2nd- which is slighly 1 month before the wedding.
Also our hotel block reserve ends on Feb. 16th so we wanted to make sure of things that way as well.
I think 6 weeks before is good though. Especially when you have an A list and B list.

i was actually going to ask the same question. i think we're going to do 5 weeks before or march 19 so i think we're going to send it out first week of feb? does that sound right?

I'm doing 7 to 8 weeks before.. I know it's not proper.. but there are way too many people to account for and I know each invite we send out will be coupled with a phone or two and in some cases even three!!
