RSVP date how far in advance...
I know this has been asked most likely 100 times lol but How far before wedding do you ask for the RSVP?

I did a month before, so 9/25 for a 10/25 wedding. I wanted to give myself enough time to track down the stragglers.

Someone told me the rule of thumb is 3 weeks. But I will probably do a month ahead of time too.

We did 8/20 for 9/26. We did that so people that RSVP late still have time to book a room if they want one.

For our August 15th date, we had an RSVP date of July 1. Oh, and I'm still tracking down the slackers!

We did 3 weeks before the wedding and about 1 1/2 before we had to give the final count. Wish we had given 3 weeks before the final count so we could have invited a few more guests.
