My wedding date is September 17. What day should I have the invitations say for the RSVP? September 2nd??

I would say August 17th. At least a month before. You want to be able to get final counts together, make placecards and such. Plus, you will get a lot of late responses. We had them coming back a week or two after the response date. Leave yourself some room!!

I agree with Boop. You need more than 15 days in advanced. Besides not everyone will send them back in time and you are going to have to follow up with everyone.

I heard 4 ti 6 weeks before you have to give your caterer the final head count

i'm sending my invites out in june and think about having the rsvp date between 8/1-8/10
