RSVP delays

My RSVP date is next Saturday- February 8th. I'm still missing 130 people who haven't responded. Anyone else have this problem? Do you get a ton this last week that trickle in???

I don't get why people don't RSVP?? I feel like I've read the same post from people in your position on these boards. How hard is it to put an envelope in the mailbox?

ugh agreed. Just manners. Either you're coming or you're not. Just put the envelope in the mailbox!

Omg that's insane! I would just start hunting people down the day RSVPs are due. Don't feel bad when they're not being respectful of your time and money.

I wouldn't even call them if they don't respond, they get marked as a no in my book!

This happened to me! I had to call a lot of people, and we had a ton of cancellations/add-ons after the RSVP date. It's to be expected. It's hard not to panic, but it happens!!!

FH has read this on previous threads and asked me to convey this info to you: The date you Need it by is the date most Mail it by.

For some reason they think the date on the reply card is the date it should be sent back to you not the date you Need it.

Hopefully you have a week pad time and can wait a week to finalize the number of guests and seating arrangements.

For anyone who hasn't sent out their invitations, keep this in mind, and have your RSVP date one weeks earlier than you actually need it.

Good Luck.
