RSVP etiquette---or just another way to tease ewickens.

If I received an invitation today and the RSVP date is today, do I still send it in or do I make the bride wait as she made me wait??? Just wondering because I just got this really cute invitation to Betsy's wedding and even though she told me I didn't have to, I have filled out the RSVP card...just wondering how long I should wait to mail it in...you know, to further mess with her. BTW...she had it hand cancelled...I feel even more special for her effort!!!!!!

WOW, that got there quick. I only mailed it out on Monday!!!!!!!!! or was it Tuesday??? I love that Setauket PO, they know me by name and face now!!!!

I know you're coming, so it's not going to bother me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

in that case, i'll mail it on sept 14th. that way maybe you'll get it by the wedding. kidding....to lift your spirits, i'll mail it in the morning.

just write them an angry letter about how you had to have the hall add 2 chairs because you never received it and now all your friends and family think you're tacky. use the T word...it sets off emotions.
