RSVP Expectations?
This might be a hard poll to ask but, if I guranteed 175 people how many 'no's' on average do you expect or have you ladies received. I am thinking if I have to fill 175 seats I need to invite like at least 205

Right now I am at 10% both with RVSP's sent to my home as well as people I know will not be able to make it. I think it really depends on how many OOT people you invite but most people say 20% or so. Again it depends on your situation so going by a standard number may not always apply
We are inviting 265 people, 50 of whom are my dad's cousins and will most likely all be no's. So, I am expecting (hoping) that we get around 50-60 no's so that we can be just under or just over 200 people
To estimate I counted every person I know can't come (we have some much older guests who live on the west coast we are only inviting out of respect). We added that number to half of the people we are questionable about (we have 15 OOT people we are iffy about we 'guessed' 7 will decline) Then on top of that we took a 1/4 of the distant relations and friends who live nearby but aren't super close...thinking likely 1 out of 4 will decline. Sounds confusing... lol I can't think how to better explain it but overall it ends up being about 17% of our guest list...which is normal (between 10-20 is normal) but I wanted a more precise number so that's why I broke it down. Either way I'm sure I will get some surprises lol
I would definitely invite more than 205 if your minimum is 175. Most venues told me that between 15% and 20% of guests won't show. I invited 240 and we are expecting 175 since we have a lot of people coming from other states.
thanks ladies! i am trying to just get a good idea ahead of time before my preliminary list with STD cards
We're inviting 250 and hoping for only 200 to show...would be soo much easier on the pockets, lol
We invited 181 guest and 146 RSVP and then the day of we had 6 no show after they RSVP so also keep that in mind
