I just got my invitation proof and I think I screwd up my RSVP. Is it usually 1 month before my date. So for instance my wedding date is 9/24/05. Should I put 8/24/05 for RSVP, I used 8/29/05. Is that too late? What did you all do?

I actually did about the RSVP date about 7 weeks before our wedding date, but your date is off by just a few days from what you originally wanted. I wouldn't worry about it.

I wanted 4 weeks before our day for the RSVP, but FMIL talked me into only 3 weeks Wish I stuck to my guns on this.

Since it is only the proof I would change the date to the 24th. I am getting married on nov 4th & my RSVP date is Oct 1st.

Honestly? After reading posts on these boards, I wouldn't worry too much about it. Those people who don't RSVP by your RSVP date probably wouldn't have even if it were a few days later. Besides wanting to know the number you should be fine.

I did mine 6 weeks before. But yours ins't bad dont worry about it.
