RSVP/Mailing Invite Question
My RSVP date is August 5th...I am planning on mailing the invites around July 4th (day before/after). Is that enough time to allow for response? Should I be mailing these out a week earlier? HELP.TIA

Re: RSVP/Mailing Invite Question
Mine is August 16 and I am sending mine out next week. I want OOT guests to have ample time to schedule travel plans, etc.

I did with my Xmas cards, but our hotel booking also expires on August 16, so I wanted to cover all bases. I have 80% guests coming in from OOT, so I want to give everyone ample time to plan - b/c we know people wait until the last feasible moment!!!!

Wow...80%!!!! Okay. You have a special situation. Thank you for sharing. I wonder if I am mailing them on-time if I don't have a lot ot OOT. (Only about 12 people - or 3 families).
Anyone think I should mail mine earlier or am I timing it correctly????

I know I have special circumstances, but most of the girls I spoke to gave themselves 4-6 weeks from the RSVP date to mail them out, so I think you'd be safe having them ready for the start of July.

Re: RSVP/Mailing Invite Question
I would maybe send it out a week earlier, that way it has time to arrive, and with the holiday weekend, it just gives a little more for people to get their responses in.

Re: RSVP/Mailing Invite Question
I sent mine out a month in advance and it was plenty of time. We still had outstanding responses when our response date arrived, but those people wouldn't have been on time no matter when the response date was.I think a month is pretty much standard.
