I'm probably not going to make any sense to most of you...but I've heard of this and wanted to get your opinions.
Some stupid people will not put their names on the RSVP card or will write something that is totally illegible. To keep track of who's coming and who's not, I've heard of numbering the RSVP's with a marker, that's only visible under a black light. This way, your guests don't see it, and you can keep track of everyone's responces.
I'm not sure where to get this but think it's going to solve a lot of problems down the line.
Any thoughts?

Re: RSVP Marker?
i found this.... UV marker, but then you would also need a blacklight...
I did the pencil #'s in the back back corner.... t's really tiny and light... likely around 5 pt font size.
I frankly don't care if anyone notices.... and I doubt anyone will. I've got a lot of absent-minded scientist friends (takes one to know one ), and I'll be happy if they just find the RSVP card, and the return envelope!

Re: RSVP Marker?
immaculate RSVPs versus sunburn (or worse, if you're not wearing the sexy safetyglasses)
I just wrote really small in pencil, on the back...
I'm not so much worried about people forgetting to fill out the card as I am getting some that say 'Mr. & Mrs Esposito'...there are NINE Mr. & Mrs Espositos invited....how would I know who is who?!
Of the 8 rsvps I got back so far (invites went out last week!) only 1 had a return address on it - so that won't help!!!
I'm glad I put the numbers, and my one friend who saw it said it was a great idea....no need to bother with the secret decoder pen!

This is a great thread, glad I saw it this morning. I never would have thought of it. And I have like 8 Mr and Mrs Ventura's!!! This should help, but yeah I might do the uv marker too!
