RSVP n freaking out

I've always had a fear of no one coming to my wedding. Now it's 2 weeks til RSVP ' S are due and I've only received 38 responses out of 120... Some were no's. I'm in a panic. We have to pay for a min. 100 ppl. I font want to waste food n don't have $ to waste. What if we have 50 ppl n paid out the *** for a beautiful wedding when with 50 ppl I would've rented a restaurant room n gone way smaller. I don't have many ppl for a B list. I'd love to in ite ppl from my job but it's seasonal and there's 100 of us n I'd feel like I'm offending ppl I don't invite as we are all friends. I know I'm not alone here but I'm getting so worried :(

My RSVP date is 4 days away. We invited 225...and so far we have 131 yes's and 22 no's

I know what your saying it's stressful you don't want to have too many people but you don't want to be under your minimum ether. I wouldn't stress too much until you get closer. Maybe a lot of people haven't answered yet but are coming. And don't forget your vendors count and so do you and your FH so that brings up your numbers too.

I wouldn't worry, it seems lately people like to wait until the last minute. You may even need to hunt some people down afterwards. I'm sure they'll start coming in over the next week or so.

Im freaking out cause so far I have only 4 nos... everyone wants to come... 15 more days till the RSVP date...

I was afraid of THAT happening. Now I'm afraid of the opposite lol... in my perfect world we have EXACTLY 100 guests. Tht's my happy number.

I would start calling people that haven't responded yet and send out your 'B' list guest invites.

I wish it were so easy... and what's funny is the no's i thought would have been yes ... really hard to judge... I'm nervous a boat load of no will come last min lol to late to even send out to b list...

I had to literally track people down. Call. Text. Facebook message. Everyone gave me some sorta excuse and apologized profusely, but we wound up getting all replys one week after due date. I'll never understand what's so hard about putting an envelope in the mailbox?! We had family members-even members of our bridal party, not RSVP!! We knew they were coming but it was just principle. Don't worry about it now. When the time comes, track their butts down. You gotta do what you gotta do!

I have 5 members of our bridal party that still haven't rsvped lolol I know they are coming but still come on mail it!

LOL my FH and me, who was Best Man at his Best Friends wedding, sent our RSVPs the day before they were due. The mail tends to pile up in our house and oops...we forgot.

I would track people down probably a week to a couple days until your RSVP date.

Ok now 3 days out and we got 5 in the mail yesterday...a lot of people just wait till the last minute, don't stress yet

Some guests see the RSVP date as the day to Mail the card. If you have a little lee way before you have to give a final count to the venue then you are ok. Start sending out the B-list you do have and if necessary FB or call people who haven't responded yet.

Some people lose the reply card, some people never get the invite - we had 2 and oddly enough they were both named Donna, how is that for coincidence? - some people thought they sent the reply card already, some people feel it is obvious that they are coming as they are close family members or friends and some people feel that only regrets are sent.

Don't stress - easier said than done - if you call or message them just tell them you were wondering if they sent out the card yet as you have to get in touch with the vendor soon with a final count.

RSVP date is Tuesday and we are waiting on like 25 couples... this is like mind boggling to me. We have started sending B list and are now sending a few more since we got way more No's than expected. Totally making me sad besides just stressed. Thank you guys for letting me know this isn't just me though cause sometimes it REALLy feels icky :( .. I'm just overly sensitive I guess.

Out of my whole family, only 1 cousin (my bridesmaid) is coming, my other 2 who I was close with aren't coming, just found out now my godbrothers who i always adored can't come n now I'm a crying mess.
RSVP's were 4 days ago and I am still waiting on 50 people.. which is HALF those invited. I'm so upset n feel so unloved (ugh). This is totally taking a hit on my self esteem.

Oh no I am so sorry that is awful! Just remind yourself that on that day you will be surrounded by people that truly love you!

Now start tracking those people down it will make you feel better.

I hate how people are so inconsiderate about RSVP-ing for weddings knowing how expensive they are and how much planning goes into them. Sorry to hear you're having such a hard time with the guest. You're wedding is going to be awesome either way.

Don't forget vendors count too...that added 5 more to our guest list.
