RSVP: postcard or envelope?

RSVP: postcard or envelope?

Are you ladies doing a postcard? I was wondering what we should do. Do people who RSVP no put checks in an envelope? Haha I know it sounds greedy but I'm wondering if that is a factor!

Re: RSVP: postcard or envelope?

I've seen RSVP's as both postcards and enveloped cards.

None of my No's included a check in with their response card (I had an envelope). A few people sent cards closer to the wedding or after, but we weren't even counting on getting gifts from guests who replied No.

I've only replied yes to the RSVP postcards, so that wasn't a factor for me, as a guest.

HTH!!

i used an envelope for my rsvp's, but only because it came with the set i bought.

i would've preferred to use the postcards for 2 reasons:
-- cheaper stamps
-- it's more earth-friendly

we had about 4 people (out of about 45 no's) that sent a check in the rsvp envelope.

When I RSVP no, I usually send a gift closer to the wedding after I reply No.

I think the postcard idea.

this may be a silly question, but you can make your own postcards, right? as long as it fits the USPS size and thickness requirements?

Thanks ladies... we will most likely do the postcard due to the difference in postage. Was just wondering if people did that!

Thanks!
