RSVP - Postcard or Envlope?

I can't decide what to do, does it look better to do RSVP with card and envelope or will a postcard work...

And if you are cutting it of card stock, are there any regulations? Like weight of card stock, dimenisons?

I was thinking I'd like people to list the names of their guests and children, since children are going to be a big part of my daytime wedding.

Also lots of people live with their grandparthers, parents, adult kids, and I really don't want to send 4 invites to one household. So one big invite for the familia!

ex... RSVP will include something like

Names of Adults attending:
________ _________
________ _________

Names of Children attending:
________ _________
________ _________

Will you be needing shuttle service to the venue?

Too much info on postcard?
I know its not too formal or standard, but its practical this info will save me a lot of phone work to find out who and whats what.

I am doing rsvp postcards. The Maximum size is 6 inches long by 4-1/4 inches high, so just be sure not to go over those dimensions, or you have to pay regular envelope postage.

I dont know if you should include names attending, just maybe the standard

Number Attending ____

the postcard may get a bid crowded if u include too much info.

I used postcards. Just print the info on one side, your address on the other, and cut an 8.5 x 11 piece of cardstock into 4 pieces. Easy peasy. You can spring for the specialty postcard paper, but any sheet that size will do, so long as it's thick enough.
