So what will you ladies do if some rsvp's don't come back at all-
Do you call the people or just take it as a no?

I would definitely call. If you assume no and they show up and it will be awkward since they won't have a seating card.

Call, some people forget they need to respond. You don't want anyone showing up who didn't rsvp and then you have nowhere for them to sit.

Some of my invitations got lost in the mail, so I would definitely call all the non responses to make sure they got their invite!

I will call. But if people don't respond to the phone call I will mark them as a no, and if they decide to show up they can be the ones embarrassed that there is no place for them. I can see forgetting to send the RSVP card, but not responding to a phone call is just plain rude.

you are supposed to call people.. but honestly I will call once and then if they dont get back to me I am taking that as a no so if they call me back later on (very close to the wedding) I will say oh Im sorry but we alredy finalized the numbers with the hall.. I hate chasing after people ... you either want to be there or you dont!
