RSVP question
I've read anywhere from 2-6 weeks before the big day. I did 6. I've heard a lot of opinions that it's 'too early,' but it makes me feel better knowing I have a lot of time to contact those that didn't RSVP and plan my seating chart.

RSVP question
A month before is definitely not too early. It gives you time to track down anyone who rudely does not reply on time and still have time to give your venue a final count.

RSVP question
A month is good! Like the other girls said you want enough time to get a final count especially those who are casually late on RSVP-ing

RSVP question
I did a little over a month so I would be able to track down slackers and not have to rush to do it.

RSVP question
I did January 20th for a February 15th wedding. I sent mine invites out December 8th. I figured with the holidays it was good to give people extra time. It's been a week and the only confirmed guest are: My mom, my cousin, My moms cousin, 2 friends, and my FH grandpa! lol - I thought we'd have way more than that in the first week...ekkkkkkkk. lol.

Re: RSVP question
so if you're doing an a list and a b list, are you printing two separate invitations with two separate rsvp dates then?

No, invitations have the exact same info. Only the RSVP cards were printed with 2 different dates. One has an April 20th date & the other May 15th.
Your RSVP date wouldn't go on your actual invitation.

I don't think that too early at all! I want to do about 6 weeks in advance.

Re: RSVP question
I don't think it is too early cuz chances are you will need to hunt some people down for an RSVP answer...people don't have courtesy to just respond anymore!
