Ok, I'm going to be sending my invitaions out the week of July 28th (after my bridal shower) Our wedding is September 28, 2008 and the final headcount is due in on September 16, 2008. Which Rsvp date should I use? What is more appropriate. Should I give myself 2 weeks for calling the no response people or 2 1/2 weeks

Re: Rsvp Question with poll
I would go with August 30th, this way you will have plemty of time to hunt down those people who forget to RSVP.

Re: Rsvp Question with poll
I'm getting married Sept 28th and I used Sept 1st for RSVP. OOPS!!! Didnt realize there was no mail that day. My final count is due around the same time and I figured I'd rather have them in early so I can work on seating chart, etc without too much stress.
I'm getting my invites in the mail next week, and will probably mail them out the week after.

Re: Rsvp Question with poll
I would do 8/30 just to be on the safe side, this way if you do need to call people and add guests you have time to get them their invitations, etc.

Re: Rsvp Question with poll
I posed this question as well. I actually just sent my invites out yesterday, a little earliy but for a strange reason. my wedding is 9/20, and the LIW girls said 8/20, so that is what I did. Do you have a hotel block? The rsvp date and the hotel block are now the same date. less for people to remember, imo.
