RSVP rant

Today is my RSVP date. So far we have about half of the responses back. What are the chances that I will go home and find 60 some odd RSVPs in my mail today. Pretty slim I would say. What is wrong with people. That is SOOOO RUDE! I have to have the seating chart to the RH by next Friday and I only have half my responses back. I also think we wont make our minimum. Looks pretty close right now. I really wish people would send them back.

wait up to a week after the date to call ppl. some idiots think the RSVP date is the latest to SEND the cards.

It stinks doesn't it! I had so many people say 'oh, I lost it' and 'my husband was suposed to mail it'. BAH!
Definately wait a little bit before you panic. I got over 30 in the last week. and those defianltey were the ones who put me over my min (by 3 whole people!).
I did start emailing and calling friends and giving and advance heads up to our mothers who we hadn't heard from in case they happened to see them.

unfotunatley its hard to get all the RSVPS back by the due date. im still waiting to see how many will respond by my due date i know im gonnahave to start making calls.

UGH that's so frustrating! I just don't understand how hard it is to write your name on the lil card, write yes or no (or 1 or 2) and then drop it in the mail!! it's already stamped!! Pepole are just lazy I guess! It will work out though, it always does and everyone goes through this! Keep us posted!

I'm sorry.

I can't believe how hard people find it to send those cards in. I keep getting asked if they can just verbally tell me, why do they have to mail it in. I mean how hard is it to check a box yes or no and stick it in the mail. It's not like they have to go out and search out a stamp.

Wait I was missing like 38 and got most of them in the week of the RSVP date.

Don't sweat it, start making a list of FH guest and your guests and split the calls. FH and I did that and pushed ppl to send them back. Some ppl just have no clue.

I feel your pain!! Our RSVP date is 9/26 and we are still waiting for about 75!!!!! I agree that is so rude --- if you know whether or not your coming, just send the stupid thing back. All you have to do is check yes or no and stick it in the already addressed and stamped enveloped!! GEEZ

I feel your pain yesterday I only got 2 our RSVP date isn't until Oct. 1st so they still have time but I hate coming home to 1 or 2 RSVPs. I would give them until Wednesday and then start calling. GL

Believe me, I know how you feel. Our RSVP date was the 16th and we're still missing responses. I just emailed a few people today to try and find out what is going on. I don't understand; I always make it a point to send a response back asap.

It's driving me crazy and I'm getting 'oh you know we are coming' from people. I'm seariously on the verge of a huge BRIDZILLA attack! My seating chart is due at the RH BY FRIDAY!!!! I can't wait a week for these people!

Don't worry I was waiting on like 50 people just last week, and my RSVP date was more the 2 Weeks ago.... I know its very fustrating!! People are so freakin rude!! but it all works out, and btw, I had the same concern about not making our minimum and we offically are not. Oh well what are ya gonna do.. Were just asking friends of friends to come, it stinks, but stress over it just left me with sleepless nights, and you can't change people. And as for the seating chart, we did it in 30 mins, my FH did most of it, and you just wing it.. I couldn't take the stress anymore, people are SO going to complain where they are sitting but I don't care! they rsvp'd so damn late so I sat them in crappy places!

I know what you mean We invited like 200 and so far only 50 said yes I think everyone is waiting till the last minute to respond and this is family mind you!
