hey girlies! (is that annoying??) anyway, i wanted to share a little helpful tip...i read someone's post about a mystery RSVP and thought i'd mention this thing i learned from a wedding planner (james tramondo from **** weddings) when you make up your guest list, give each mailer a number
so like this: 1. mr & mrs. blah blah , 7 Mockingbird lane, some town, etc etc... 2. Mr. & mrs. whoever...etc etc 3. etc etc
and THEN on the back of the RSVP card, in a tiny tiny corner - they won't really notice the back, put the #, so that when/if they send it back with a response but no name, you know who it is...
HTH! (and HT makes sense!)
eta: i met him a while ago, and wanted to give credit, i didn't come up with this and he's a sweetie for sharing!

Re: RSVP tip...
I did that except I numbered them in chinese. This way most of my guests, should they have looked, wouldn't have been insulted by a number.

Re: RSVP tip...
use the invisible pen, comes with a small black light so you can see the number on the back. Toys r us has one too for like $10

Re: RSVP tip...
Even though I have personalized RSVP cards, I may do this anyway, because some will be blank for B lists.

Re: RSVP tip...
I did this! I actually came up with it on my own...Funny part is..I got a RSVP card last week that said Mr. and Mrs. #32 decline LOL.
It was pretty funny that I needed to look up on my master who they were....My best advice is to put a _____ number of guests attending...

Re: RSVP tip...
You girls are all so good - I didn't even try to hide mine - I put them right on the back corner in green ink... I am certainly not good at subtlety

Re: RSVP tip...
We also used the UV reactive (invisible) ink pens!!! So far everyone has written their names haha!!! I got mine in a set of 3 pens and mini blacklight for $5.99 and free shipping on ebay. It was fun writing them on, I'm a huge loser.
