RSVP Vent...

What is wrong with people? We received a few responses today and one of them was written on the reception card...and to boot, we could barely read the name on it and since it didn't have the corresponding number to our wedding list, it kind of made it hard to figure out who it was. Then, one of FH's cousins had his mother respond for him and his wife on a copy of the response card. Mind you, they were sent their own invitation...what the hell did they do with the stamp??? I'm sorry...I know this may sound minor, but the stress is really really getting to me lately!

Breath it will be ok look at this way atleast there responding unlike some of the people that don't even respond and then you have to call them.

Oh, I am dreading that! Depending on who's side it is, I'll try to have my mother or FMIL make the calls! I hate talking on the phone especially in ths situation!

I wish I could tell you that it gets better, but I'll tell you that people stink and are really inconsiderate. Make sure you have your final count by the time you need it...my dad still doesn't know if he's coming alone or with his wife...wedding's next Friday!

Relax and take it all in stride...yes, this is the MOST stressful part...I promise!

I so don't want to deal with this part of the wedding...Maybe I wont send out the invitations next week....

i hear ya. We still have over 80 invites expected back to us and the response date is FRIDAY

if it makes you feel any better.. our wedding is in 5 days and our rsvp date was, oh i dunno a MONTH ago.. we just got a response YESTERDAY!

what is with people? at this point they're being sat at any table with room.. i can't redo the seating chart yet again. grr

Here is one for you:

I sent my uncle a invite for him and his wife. He send back the response card with four names on it. Where do people give the nerve from to add four people to a response card, when only two people were invited.

I am ready to scream!

I do feel your pain! After my FH insisting that his cousins who are adults but live with their mom get their own invites(at 6.00 each with stamps and calligraphy) they send their reply on one card! What a waste of money and paper!
