RSVP vent!!

Ok so today I get the mail and I open an RSVP with a long note written on the back of why the person can't attend and so forth, BUT THEY DIDNT GIVE ME A NAME!!!! They took the entire Mr. and Mrs. line to write WE REGRETFULLY CAN NOT ATTEND!!!! umm the no option was BELOW!!!
I didn't have time to number the RSVPs as I wanted and now I am hoping my parents can figure out which guest they know who will be out of town for the wedding! My dad has no idea!!!!!

UGH i am so sorry. I also didnt have time to number my rsvp's well my plan was to go to toys r us and buy the invisible pen with the black light but i left that for last minute then broke my stupid foot and couldnt do it i am fearing the same thing.

Hopefully you'll be able to figure it out but on the brightside its better to get a no rsvp with no name rather than a yes

Only my bad luck was that everyone ended up putting a name on theirs so pretty much it was time wasted for me to have done it but I felt that I didn't someone would have done that.

Sorry that it happened to you - can you look at the postmark to see where it came from at least??? That might narrow it down a bit as to who it can be at least.

We numbered ours too which means they will all put their names? I hope?

I'm sorry this happened to you but at least it was a detailed NO... should be easier to ID them. I remember you were worried about the format of your response cards with the 'will ___ attend' line -- has everyone figured that out w/out a prob?

how frustrating hopefully it is a close enough relative that someone recognizes the handwritting or maybe the person will come forth and realize the silly mistake they made--- you may have to make some phone calls

also word of mouth someone down the line will find out for you!

I am kicking myself!!! I went to part city looking for the pen and they didn't have it!! I didn't even think to check toys r us!! Damn!! I think I narrowed down the handwriting from one of my guests at the shower!! Its a good thing I saved the cards!! I have to wait until I go home to see what my mom says!! I didn't think this person would be moving the weekend of my wedding! Oh well!!

wait the person said they are moving? that might be a big clue if your mom knows of somebody moving soon

oh wait you want to hear a big rsvp vent lol and fh is mad. Ok we are not having kids at the wedding, sorry but with the possibility of 40 kids or more being at the wedding its a bit much. Anyways we get back an rsvp today and its a married couple and it says just 1 and on it they wrote 'we dont have child care so husband cant come' obviously this was to let us know its an inconvenience. Ok i would feel horrible if they werent millionaires and can afford a babysitter. And to write it on the rsvp they are obviously mad about it. Maybe if i tell them how much we would have to pay for kids and its ALOT for chicken fingers and fries and the fact that theres just to many ppl on the list with kids, 10 kids i dont know 40 kids NO. And i was going to pay for a babysitter but i dont know now

well first we heard through family they werent even going to come and this is real close family of FH. They said their Au pair will be out of the country during our wedding. I couldnt believe they wouldn't come, she had two HUGE weddings and fh's parents went to both weddings ya know so i am surprised. And like i said, i would understand others who cant afford and would feel horrible, but they are millionaires, you can pay for a babysitter. Honestly, one thing i dont do is tell our guests how much we're paying per person or anything money related. BUT in this case i am going to find a way to throw in how much we are getting charged for kids, everybody gets surprised when i tell them.

wow that is so strange that they are acting like that especially because of their relationship with fh.. i understand where you are coming from completely that is odd.. do you think by chance the wife may end up being a no show even though she responded yes?
