Ok so today I get the mail and I open an RSVP with a long note written on the back of why the person can't attend and so forth, BUT THEY DIDNT GIVE ME A NAME!!!! They took the entire Mr. and Mrs. line to write WE REGRETFULLY CAN NOT ATTEND!!!! umm the no option was BELOW!!! I didn't have time to number the RSVPs as I wanted and now I am hoping my parents can figure out which guest they know who will be out of town for the wedding! My dad has no idea!!!!!

Re: RSVP vent!!
thank you ladies, i feel like sh*t bc they all think were just being rude and can't understand this and Fh is mad for a couple reasons regarding this. .
Even the past week or so i keep thinking if i should hire a babysitter, i know a couple of ppl do this. FMIL's nieces all have kids and they are coming from upstate and they have a babysitter who will stay in the hotel with them, i wish i would've known bc i would've paid for that, they are so understanding of it all. I know somebody who babysits kids during weddings and have been trying to figure out a way to do this and where but this makes me not want to ya know.
If we let kids come i did the calculations and it would cost us over $4k extra

Honestly, one thing i dont do is tell our guests how much we're paying per person or anything money related. BUT in this case i am going to find a way to throw in how much we are getting charged for kids, everybody gets surprised when i tell them.
How much would you be charged for kids? $75-80?
yeah close its between $80-90

and you know most kids wont even eat the chicken fingers lol plus not to mention more kids more tables, extra cp's...but the big problem is if 40 kids do show up its just too much. Ive been to events with LOTS of kids and they just take over the whole dancefloor rolling around the floor jumping around, crying and screaming. Ive been to events where i didnt hear the speeches over crying and screaming kids
anyways i just talked to my mom to ask the lady she knows who has done this at weddings, how much she charges. I also know somebody else who has done this so going to find out. I want to do this for the couples who are 100% understanding of this, and then the others might feel bad after reacting how they did

Re: RSVP vent!!
No kids invited here, at FH's cousin's wedding one of his fam members brought a little boy and he ended up throwing up on the the dance floor it was disgusting the place started smelling b/c he kept throwing up, AND to top it of you would think the parents would say ok our son's sick lets leave now, No they continued to party dance and drink, while they left their son halfway sleeping at a blatantly visible table close to the dance floor with a metal bucket by his chair!!!! Oh and the only one attending to him (making sure he was ok) was the maitre di!!!!!!!!
